Research on"Catalyst-Type"Renewal Design of Industrial Heritage in Dalian Port Area
Port industrial heritage is the carrier of the development of coastal city industrial civilization,witnessing the change of urban development.For the port industrial heritage that has played an important role in the past,but is now gradually declining,how to protect and reuse them,innovate their functional forms,and lead the new development of the whole area is an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the investigation and problem analysis of the industrial heritage status of Dalian Port Area,this paper introduces the catalyst theory into the renewal design of the area,starting from the four levels of functional catalyst,cultural catalyst,traffic catalyst and ecological catalyst.By implanting specific catalyst elements,chemical reactions between catalyst elements can occur,thus changing other surrounding elements,promoting the gradual renewal and development of the area,and providing beneficial reference for the renewal design of industrial heritage in the same type of port area.
