Discussion on the Countermeasures of Outdoor Space Renewal in Old Urban Residential Areas
At present,China's urban development has gradually transformed from"quantity preservation"to"quality improvement",and the renovation of old residential areas has become a topic of concern.This study focuses on the outdoor space renewal of old residential areas,and finds that there are many difficulties in the renovation of old residential areas,such as diverse types of old residential areas,extremely limited space resources,and failure of conventional renovation methods.Through field investigation and literature review,this study proposes a resident-oriented cognitive method.The"demand-function"translation path and"behavior-space"generation path are used to coordinate the contradiction between insufficient space resources and diverse needs of residents,and to seek the most efficient outdoor space renewal strategies and methods in old residential areas.
