Analysis of the Characteristics of"Mountain-Temple-City"and Its Construction Concept in the Mountainous Space of Gongsheng Temple
The location and layout of the Guangsheng Temple at the southern foot of Huoshan Mountain is a reflection of the wisdom of the ancients in building on the terrain.Based on the understanding of the spatial pattern theory of ancient Chinese mountain architecture, this paper compares the historical changes and layout development of the temple with the example of the Guangsheng Temple complex, and visualizes the relationship between its artificial construction concept of"combining shape and complementary potential"and the spatial pattern of the landscape city.By using GIS technology to build a three-dimensional topographic map,we explore the site selection and construction characteristics through three-dimensional terrain modeling and view field analysis, and visualize the spatial relationship patterns of the complex,so as to explore and prove the advanced design ideas contained in the site selection and construction activities of ancient Chinese mountain architecture.
