Research on the External Space Design of Thematic Museums based on Cultural Expression:Taking the Design Project of Nanjing City Wall Museum as an Example
Museum external space is a space enclosed or limited by museum buildings and urban roads.As a transitional area between the museum and the city,it has two major attributes:cultural and public.As a museum that exhibits a specific topic,thematic museums pay more attention to cultural expression and display.Taking the design project of the Nanjing City Wall Museum as an example,this paper explores the cultural expression of the thematic museum external space design from five levels:content,environment,function,form,and technology.
