The Supply-demand Relationship of Medical Institutions based on Improved Gravitational Model:A Case Study of Nanjing Jiangbei New Area
Study uses the improved gravity model which adds subjective factors such as residents'needs for the overall analysis and takes the primary medical institutions and general hospitals in Jiangbei New District of Nanjing as an example.Study gives the improved gravity model to the evaluation index system, which includes three aspects:the service capacity of medical institutions which act as a supplier, the scale of residents'medical needs and the impedance of traffic travel.Study results show that the spatial distribution of medical resources is concentrated in the key areas of urban development and scattered in other areas, and the medical supply and demand is extremely imbalanced.
