Life Circle Research Based on the Travel behavior of Elderly Migrants in Guangzhou
Family-based population mobility is prominent in China's urbanization and aging process.The ever-expanding scale of elderly migrating is physically and psychologically vulnerable,and their social integration has increasingly become an important social issue.From the perspective of life circle and time geography,three communities in Guangzhou are analyzed,the relationship between travel behaviors and their personal attributes in different life circles through questionnaire and activity data.The main travel mode of elderly migrant was walking,the boundary of activities was limited,and they were more dependent on the facilities within the 15-minute living circle.Although the heavy burden of housework will cause certain pressure on their lives,the increase of caring behavior of children helps the elderly to expand the boundary of travel and improve their willingness to stay.
