Strategies of Low Energy Renovation Design of East-west Oriented House in Hot Summer and Cold Winter Areas:A Case Study of a House in Xinchang County of Zhejiang Province
Focusing on an east-west oriented house in Xinchang County of Zhejiang Province as a typical example in hot summer and cold winter areas,the paper calculates its annual energy consumption,analyses its existing problems such as low thermal insulation of the envelope structure,serious western sunlight exposure,and poor ventilation and fenestration.Based on the studies above,the paper proposes some targeted strategies of renovation design which lead to low energy efficiency and improvement of living quality under the controls of satisfied indoor thermal comfort.
