Research on Renewal Methods of Public Space in Old Urban Communities under the Background of Smart City:Taking the Transformation of Jingyuan Farmers'Market in Chengdu as an Example
In the post-epidemic era, people's production and life have had a serious impact and inconvenience, which has exposed problems in urban governance and emergency response systems, especially in old urban communities.Under the influence of the epidemic at that time, people's activities and actions were narrowed to the community,so the community public space not only became the most important cultural, activity and consumption space for residents, but also became a strategic space for epidemic prevention and control. From these perspectives, this paper expounds the connection between community public space and the surrounding environment and residents and the renewal strategy, discusses how to make the public space construction of old communities better in the post-epidemic era and in the context of smart cities, which can better reflect the design concept of"people-oriented".At the same time, through the introduction and analysis of Chengdu Jingyuan Farmers'Market transformation project, various key design elements of future smart community are tried to be discussed in the design,so as to help improve the resilience of the entire urban community in the post-epidemic era and enhance the city's coping ability and resilience.
