A Study on the Factors Influencing the Safety of Outdoor Activities for the Elderly in Old Residential Areas
Old residential areas are an important carrier for elderly care at home,but the dilapidated performance of old residential areas cannot support the safe outdoor activities of the elderly.Against the backdrop of the comprehensive promotion of the renovation work of old residential areas,by exploring which factors will affect the safety of outdoor activities of the elderly in old residential areas,we can promote the safety upgrade of old residential areas,and make the elderly travel and elderly care at ease.The results indicate that the safety properties of old residential areas can be divided into three categories:road safety,green safety,and facility safety.Among them,road safety is divided into two categories,including 14 elements;green safety includes 5 elements;facility safety is divided into 6 categories,including 19 elements.Based on the research results,appropriate suggestions for the renovation of old residential areas can be proposed,which can provide ideas for later related research and design.
