The Exploration of the Path of Industrial Waste Land Transformation into Public Space based on the Case Analysis
With the implementation of the concept of urban organic regeneration in the country, the removal and retention of industrial waste land at the national and city levels has gradually evolved from"total demolition"to"organic replacement".Some industrial waste land in China has also gradually transformed from the original task of national industrial production to a public space site that meets the needs of citizens for recreation and dissemination of industrial culture. This paper analyzes the site activation cases of Hefei Diesel Engine Plant,Shenzhen Eastern Industrial Zone,Yuezhong Shipyard and Beijing 718 Factory, excavates the transformation strategies in the four cases, and looks for the transformation and renewal experience,so as to provide a theoretical basis for exploring the relevant paths of industrial waste land transformation into public space.
