Practice of Ecological and Livable Construction in Small Towns under the Guidance of Resident Needs:Taking Dongshi Town,Zhijiang City as an Example
As an important support point for implementing the rural revitalization strategy,promoting new urbanization construction,reshaping urban-rural relations,and promoting urban-rural integration development,small towns face problems such as poor appearance,lack of distinctive features,outdated infrastructure construction,and poor living environment.The paper takes the Polishing Small Towns Project in Dongshi Town,Zhijiang City as an example,adhering to the design concept of people-oriented,understanding the needs of residents through household research and on-site investigation,and summarizing the problems in the living environment.Based on the demand orientation of residents,propose design strategies for creating distinctive features of small towns,improving ecological environment,improving basic service facilities,policy supervision and services,etc.,in order to improve the quality of urban space and meet the residents'vision of a better life.The paper aims to provide practical reference for building ecological and livable urban living spaces for residents.
