Space Container for Collective Life:Analysis and Comparison of the Ideal Rural Model in the 20th Century
In the current background of promoting urban-rural integration and coordinated development, how to break the urban-rural dual structure and effectively solve the problem of imbalanced and insufficient regional development in China is not only related to the economic, social and other superstructure aspects, but also closely related to the physical spatial planning of urban and rural living environments.Taking the three world's representative"ideal village"proposals in the 20th century as research theme, this paper will compare Le Corbusier's"Village Radieux",Soviet Union's"Kolkhoz"and People's Commune and clarify the characteristics of each proposal as an ideal space paradigm and the underlying thought reflected,so as to provide a historical model reference for the current discussion of the path of urban and rural spatial integration in China.
