Research on Elderly-oriented Renovation of Public Space for Old Residential Areas based on the Theory of"Urban Acupuncture":Taking the Rendong Community Plot in Wuhan as an Example
With the acceleration of population aging in China,the community-based home care model has gradually become mainstream.In order to improve the quality of life of urban residents and promote the renewal of urban stock,old residential areas have begun to elderly-oriented renovation.Starting from the physiological and psychological needs of the elderly,this paper analyzes the main problems existing in the current situation of the old residential areas.Based on the theory of"urban acupuncture",and puts forward strategies for the renovation of public spaces in old residential areas from three aspects:space activation,road organization and cultural construction,in order to provide new ideas and references for elderly-oriented renovation in old residential areas.
