Experience and Enlightenment of the Construction of E?irdir Zero-waste Park in Turkey
The Notice of the General Office of the State Council on Printing and Distributing the Pilot Work Plan for"Zero Waste City"Construction proposes the goal of waste-free city construction with resource utilization of solid waste.The zero-waste park is one of the critical contents of constructing a zero-waste city;it faces the problem of landscaping utilizing the existing solid waste on the sites.Taking Eğirdir's Zero-waste Park in Turkey as an example,this paper explains its landscaping utilization of solid waste,including metal,plastic,and wood waste.It evaluates the landscaping use of the above three types of solid waste in the perspective of reuse,symbolic,educational,and entertainment values through the landscape feature assessment method.On the basis of the experience of Eğirdir's Zero-waste Park,the Chinese cities need to think about the attributes and characteristics of existing solid waste and their integration with the corresponding site space from diversified perspectives,think about the design logic of the sites and the forms of landscape installations after the secondary use of solid waste from deeper levels,and dig out the combinations and potential values of different types of solid waste.
