A Design Optimization Method based on Visitor Behavioral Feedback in the Context of the Parkification of Ancient Gardens
In the context of the parkification of ancient gardens,a series of problems are often derived from the expansion/renovation projects. The analysis of tourists'spatio-temporal behavior helps to identify the characteristics and spatial problems of the expanded site, and further guides the optimization. The study takes Shanghai Guyi Garden as an example and analyzes from two dimensions:aggregation analysis is conducted on tourists'path trajectories and points of interest to know the tourists'preferences.Content analysis is conducted on the tourists'online reviews to understand the tourists'feelings and potential needs. The design optimization methods based on visitors'behavioral feedback provide a scientific basis for the optimization of the expansion/renovation projects, which is of great significance to the heritage protection in the parkification process of ancient gardens.
