Research on the Current Situation and Problems of the Basic Course of Architectural Design and the Path of Ideological and Political Reform
In the first year of architectural education,we often face issues such as students'insufficient understanding of the subject and confusion between art and professional perception.These difficulties affect the motivation of freshman students and even lead to a certain degree of aversion towards learning.To address these problems,researchers conducted a one-year observation and interview study with 169 freshman students to analyze the causes of their academic confusion.They reflected on the existing problems and deficiencies in architectural design foundation courses,and proposed that teaching reform should be the starting point to optimize these courses by integrating ideological and political education with professional education.This study provides suggestions and reflections for the reform of architectural foundation courses.
