Spatiotemporal Distribution and Performance Evaluation of Urban Medical Facilities from a Faireness Perspective
This paper aims to explore the spatiotemporal distribution and equitable allocation of medical facilities in the central urban area of Shijiazhuang, with the goal of promoting the optimization and adjustment of medical facilities.Using methods such as month-on-month growth rate, kernel density analysis, and Gini coefficient, the research is conducted from three aspects:spatiotemporal distribution of medical facilities, evaluation of equitable allocation, and sources of disparities. The study finds that the number of medical facilities in the main urban area is increasing, but their distribution is uneven, showing a decay from the center to the periphery. There are significant disparities in the allocation of facilities among different regions and levels, with diverse spatial distribution patterns.Based on these findings, the article proposes recommendations in three aspects:prioritizing the rectification of allocation gaps, coordinating resource planning and layout, and expanding high-quality resources,to provide decision-making basis for subsequent adjustments in the allocation of medical facilities.
