Preliminary Study on the Design of Underground Transfer Space for Primary Schools in the Old Urban Area of Hefei
Since the reform and opening up,China's urbanization has developed rapidly, the urban population has increased sharply, and the number of primary school-age children has also increased sharply, resulting in an increasingly prominent problem of primary school transportation in old urban areas. Therefore,it is particularly important to scientifically, effectively and reasonably develop the underground pick-up and drop-off space resources of primary schools in old cities. This paper investigates the current status of the underground space and the pick-up and drop-off situation of primary schools in the old city of Hefei City, and explores the limitations of the traditional pick-up and drop-off model and the feasibility of the underground pick-up and drop-off space.By analyzing and summarizing the types of pick-up and drop-off spaces for primary schools in the old city, the design strategies for underground pick-up and drop-off spaces under various campus traffic environments are proposed.
