Social Innovation in Urban Sustainable Transport Development
Urban Sustainable transport has been a heated topic in transport studies.The mainstream research focuses on promoting sustainable transport through technological innovation and physical planning.However,it neglects the role of innovation in social concepts,mechanisms,and products in supporting sustainable transport development in practice.Based on various cases of social innovation in urban transport affairs in China,this paper attempts to analyse and summarise the subjects,channels,values,and challenges in social innovation related to urban transport development.The result of this paper hopefully contributes to social innovation and sustainable transport development in the future.
