"Urban Campus"from the Perspective of Regionalism:A Case Study of the Concept Design of the Xiamen University Film Academy
With the rapid development of urbanization, campus construction is facing the dilemma of"one side of a thousand cities",the sense of geographical belonging is gradually reduced, and campuses in different regions tend to be homogenized. At the same time, the strict and fragmented boundary between the campus and the city makes the university campus a towering"walled city".How to expand the openness of the campus through architectural media has become an important means to deal with the relationship between the campus and the city.Aiming at the problems of campus geographical belonging and urban boundary, this paper attempts to realize the integration and mutual survival of campus and city from the three levels of nature, humanities and ecology based on the perspective of region, and uses the Film School of Xiamen University as the architectural carrier to further revitalize the campus and urban space, forming a two-way output interaction relationship between the two.
