Research on Micro-Upgrades of Urban-Rural Public Spaces based on the Inheritance of Lingnan Cantonese Culture:A Case Study of Lishui Town,Foshan
Taking the example of Lishui Town on the urban fringe of Guangzhou-Foshan,this paper examines the lack of recognizability,systematic planning,and continuous construction in the public spaces of urban and rural areas in Foshan.Through field research and analysis,the study delves into the issue of micro-updates in urban and rural public spaces.From the perspective of Lingnan Cantonese culture inheritance,the paper proposes strategies for micro-updates in public spaces,including enhancing the connection between space and daily life,creating vibrant spaces,and highlighting rural traditions.These strategies provide new insights and methods for the transformation of public spaces in urban and rural areas.
