With the continuous advancement of artificial intelligence technology(AI),AI generative image techniques such as Generative Adversarial Networks(GANs)are widely applied in the field of architectural design.This paper provides a review of the latest research progress and practical applications of these techniques in architectural design.Utilizing a literature-based quantitative analysis method,the paper revisits 271 selected articles from the past two decades,summarizing the evolution of AI generative image techniques in the architectural industry.The review explores the feasibility of AI generative image techniques in architectural design,proposing the integration with sustainable design and multi-mode input-output technologies.The aim is to promote the development of AI generative image techniques in architectural design and provide a reference for future research.
