Research on the Demand for Front Yard Space in Multi-story Residential Buildings
Due to rapid urbanization,the majority of the Chinese urban residents are currently living in multi-story residential buildings.As a transitional area between residences and the outside environment,the front yard space has multiple functions such as promoting neighborhood communication and protecting safety and privacy.However,the current multi-story residential buildings lack the function of the front yard space.Multi-story buildings should also try to add the design of the front yard spaces.Different types of residential buildings should adopt corresponding front yard design strategies.Relevant laws and regulations should give preferential treatment in the calculation of the front yard space area to encourage the legal and reasonable development and utilization of the front yard space in multi-story residential buildings,and further improve the overall quality of life and community environment of multi-story residential buildings.
