Exploration of VR Immersive Teaching Mode and Application Path for Preliminary Course of Architectural Design based on OBE Concept
In recent years, with the development of cutting-edge science and technology, virtual reality(VR)technology has been widely applied in education and teaching due to its strong interactivity and immersive characteristics.Throughout history, architectural design courses in higher education institutions have faced certain difficulties in effectively perceiving and understanding three-dimensional spaces due to factors such as teaching modes and environments. With the help of VR technology,it provides a possibility to better achieve teaching objectives. This paper focuses on the current situation and problems in the teaching of preliminary courses in architectural design, based on the current goal of cultivating talents with abilities and qualities in"new engineering",and based on the concept of outcome oriented education(OBE),propose a VR immersive teaching mode and application path, aiming to make beneficial attempts for the preliminary curriculum reform of architectural design in the new era and the cultivation of architectural talents in the context of social transformation.
