Exploring the Compilation and Implementation of Village Planning in Urban Fringe Area:A Case Study of Panyu District in Guangzhou
In urban fringe area with obvious urbanization trends and mixed urban-rural development,village development and urban-rural issues are more complex than those in general rural areas.This paper analyzes the two rounds of village planning practices carried out in Panyu District in Guangzhou since 2007.Based on the context of territorial spatial planning system and the requirements of"practical"village planning,suggestions are proposed on how to coordinate urban-rural conflicts,improve planning practicality,solve implementation difficulties,and improve rural governance level when conducting village planning in urban fringe area.
