Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Metropolitan Circle is an important regional component of China's Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration,and is the core and key to promoting high-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta region.This paper takes the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Metropolitan Circle as the research object,analyzes the relevant data of 10 spatial units in the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou Metropolitan Circle in 2022,explores the current spatial pattern characteristics of it from four aspects:population size,industrial structure,land organization,and correlation strength,reveals the problems and challenges faced by the metropolitan circle,and proposes spatial guidance strategies for it from the perspective of spatial pattern optimization.
