摘要
受社会文化背景和地域环境的共同影响,近代教育建筑在西方建筑形制下不可避免地带有中国传统建筑特征,呈现出中西文化融合的建筑特点.华南女子大学(Hua Nan College)和福建协和大学(Fukien Christian University)分别作为近代中国南方第一所女子大学和近代中国建立的十三所代表性大学之一,具有特殊的历史意义和广泛的影响力,是中西建筑文化融合的代表之一.文章借由档案检索、文献查阅和实地调研等方式,分析两所学校的规划布局与建筑特征.通过辨析华南女子大学和福建协和大学的建筑差异,反映西方建筑"本土化"的过程和"中国固有式"建筑在近代福州的发展.
Abstract
Affected by the common influence of social and cultural background,modern educational buildings inevitably present the integration of Chinese and Western cultures with both traditional Chinese architectural characteristics and Western architectural forms.As the first women's university in modern southern China and one of the thirteen representative universities established in modern China,Hua Nan College and Fukien Christian University,respectively,have special historical significance and wide influence.The paper analyses the planning layouts and architectural features of the two universities through archival searches,literature review and field research.By analyzing the differences in architectural features between Hua Nan College and Fukien Christian University,the paper reflects the process of"localization"of Western architecture and the development of"Chinese Inherent Style"architecture in modern Fuzhou.
