Research on the Design Strategy of Enhancing the Understory Space of Hangzhou Linping Park under the Guidance of Park City
Within the framework of park city construction,the systematic analysis and ongoing enhancement of green space efficacy in built environments are critical for ensuring public access to inclusive green resources and fostering the sustainable development of livable,aesthetically pleasing landscapes.Understory spaces,integral to urban green areas,are deeply intertwined with the daily lives of residents,necessitating improvements in their spatial vitality and service efficiency.Enhancement design emerges as a pivotal method for elevating the quality of built environments.The advancement of scientific landscape enhancement design has become a key issue in the high-quality development of landscape gardening and the construction of park cities.This thesis conducts an empirical study using Linping Park as a case study,identifies existing challenges,and formulates a design framework centered on"people-oriented-functional enhancement-ecological planting-scenario creation".It emphasizes the landscape features of the azalea sea and develops an enhancement design strategy that integrates"spatial complexity-leveraging terrain-solidifying foundation-characteristic creation".This study provides a research foundation and empirical results for crafting distinctive understory spaces in park cities.
