As China's urbanization enters the middle and late stages,the old city district,as the source and historical center of the city's history and culture,is gradually facing the problems of aging buildings,degraded functions,poor environment,and insufficient facilities and vitality after experiencing the expansion mode led by increment in the first 20 years.The paper aims to discuss how to effectively enhance the vitality of the old city in the context of Urban Renewal,taking the power planning of the old city district in Pujiang County as an example,and proposing the path of progressive vitality enhancement through the problem orientation and the adoption of the operation front approach,so as to provide new ideas for the enhancement of the power and operation of the old city districts in the relevant cities.
