Nestled Against the Mountain,Embracing the Charm of Bamboo and the Fragrance of Ink:A Review of the Design of the New Campus of Shaowu Vocational School in Fujian Province
With the continuous deepening of vocational education,vocational school campuses require diversified functional composite spaces,while also incorporating modern regional cultural characteristics.Taking the design of the new campus of Shaowu Vocational School in Fujian Province as an example,based on the concept of human environment symbiosis,this paper elaborates on the campus planning and design strategies of vocational schools in the new era from three aspects:planning layout,functional integration,and regional elements.The planning and layout of corridor style buildings connected by axis sequences,incorporating composite functional spaces,and utilizing traditional regional elements to create public ceremonial spaces on campus,provide new ideas and spatial models for the development of vocational education in campus design.
