As the significance of Chinese-Style modernization construction intensifies,the design of modern church architecture must be rooted in local characteristics and culturally attuned.This paper organizes the multicultural features and regional architectural traits of the Lingnan Region,and identifies issues in the current state of churches there in contrast to the development trends of modern churches.It proposes design strategies for Lingnan's modern church architecture that consider the natural environment,cultural expression,ritual atmosphere,and humanistic features.Using the Zhuhai Catholic Church as a case study,the paper explores regional design approaches in Lingnan modern church architecture,providing a methodological reference for designs that align with Chinese cultural values.
