Bibliometric and Knowledge Mapping Analysis of Buddhist Cultural Heritage Studies
The study of Buddhist cultural heritage is of great significance for the inheritance of traditional culture, philosophical thought, and religious architectural art.Based on a sample of 346 articles selected from the CNKI and WOS databases,a quantitative analysis was conducted on the volume of publications, publishing countries, research institutions, core authors, research hotspots, and research stages to clarify the research context of Buddhist cultural heritage. The results show that the volume of publications has been increasing year by year, with international cooperation being more closely knit than domestic collaboration, but a core group of authors has not yet formed. The research is divided into three stages:initial exploration(1993-2009),diversified development(2010-2016),and innovation and development(2017-2023).The research hotspots have shifted from"protection and utilization"to"tourism development"and then to"Buddhist sculpture".It is suggested that the field of Buddhist cultural heritage should strengthen international research, scientific cooperation, and interdisciplinary integration.
