Flow and Communion:An Initial Exploration of Public Space Design Strategies for Lingnan Government Service Center Buildings on Regional Perspective
Based on the characteristics of government service centers, combined with a regional perspective and field research,it is proposed that the public space of some government service centers in Lingnan Region lack of ecological consideration, low space utilization rates, and homogenized atmospheres in public spaces.Through current situation analysis and literature research, this paper analyzes the trend of informatization, diversification, and daily use of government service centers, and combines typical cases to propose design strategies for public spaces in government service centers from the perspectives of outdoor public space, multi story design, block dissolution, and optimization of different types of spatial features(including regional characteristics, development trends, and user considerations),providing preliminary exploration for relevant design practices in Lingnan Region.
