Analysis of Huizhou Architectural Woodcarving Decorative Patterns
This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the traditional Huizhou architectural wood carving decorations in the regions of Anhui,Jiangxi,and Fujian.It explores the distribution,themes,composition,and carving techniques of the patterns on structural components such as beams and frames.The study covers a wide range of decorative themes,including auspicious animals,historical allusions,flora and fauna,antique artifacts,and geometric patterns,reflecting a high degree of integration between decorative art and regional cultural history.The research reveals the unique style of Huizhou wood carving and its cultural origins,and discusses the traditional Chinese cultural values it embodies.The aim is to provide a theoretical basis and guidance for the protection and restoration of traditional dwellings.
