Curative Effect of Linezolid in the Treatment of Severe Drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus Pulmonary Infection in the Elderly
Objective To investigate the effect of linezolid in treatment of severe pulmonary infection caused by drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus in elderly patients.Methods A total of 109 elderly patients with severe pulmonary infection,all of which were caused by drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus,were selected from the Intensive Care Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University and divided into control group and experimental group according to random number table method.54 pa-tients in the control group were given vancomycin treatment.55 patients in the experimental group were treated with linezolid.The clin-ical efficacy,staphylococcus aureus clearance,inflammatory cell level,lung function standard and side effect rate of the two groups were observed respectively.Results After treatment,the clinical effective rate and total bacterial clearance rate of experimental group were higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and other inflammatory factors in experimental groups were lower than those in control group,and the levels of TGF-β were higher than those in control group(P<0.05).The improvement of PEF,FVC and FEV1 indexes in experimental group was better(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions was lower in experi-mental group(P<0.05).Conclusion Linezolid has obvious and reliable effect in the drug treatment of elderly patients with severe pulmonary infection caused by drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus.At the same time,linezolid can also actively adjust the level of inflammation and improve lung function,and has advantages of low adverse reactions and high bacterial clearance rate,which is wor-thy of clinical promotion and application.
