Clinical Analysis of Multipoint Radiofrequency and Minimally Invasive Treatment for Trigeminal Neuralgia
Objective To explore the effect of multi-point radiofrequency minimally invasive treatment on pain and recurrence in patients with trigeminal neuralgia. Methods 150 patients with trigeminal neuralgia admitted to the Fifth People's Hospital of Jiaozuo City from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected. They were divided into two groups using a random number table method, with 75 patients in each group. The control group received drug treatment, while the observation group received multi-point radiofrequency minimally invasive treatment. The pain level, recurrence rate, postoperative complications, oxidative stress index levels, and inflam-matory factor levels of the two groups were compared. Results Showed that there was no significant difference in pain score, oxidative stress index level, and inflammatory factor level between the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05).After treatment, the pain score, inflammatory factor level, and NO level of both groups of patients decreased compared to before treatment, and the obser-vation group had lower levels of GSH Px and SOD,and the observation group had higher levels(P<0.05);there was no difference in recurrence rate and complications between groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Multi point radiofrequency minimally invasive treatment for trigeminal neuralgia can effectively alleviate its pain and has high safety, which is worth promoting.
