The Expression and Clinical Significance of Programmed Death Ligand-1 and OX40L in NK/T cell Lymphoma
Objective By detecting the expression of programmed death ligand-1(PD-L1)and OX40L in NK/T cell lympho-ma,the relationship between the expression of PD-L1 and OX40L and the clinical stage,LDH level,β2 MG level,Ki-67 and so on was analyzed.The relationship between the expression levels of the two in the local tumor microenvironment was investigated by correla-tion analysis.Methods The expression of PD-L1 and OX40L in 35 cases of NK/T cell lymphoma tissues(observation group)and 17 cases of chronic rhinosinusitis tissues(control group)were detected by Envision method and the relationship between the two and clini-copathological parameters of NK/T cell lymphoma and the correlation of their expression were analyzed.SPSS26.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the data.χ2 test was used to compare the differences between groups,and Spearman rank correlation analysis was used for correlation analysis.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results(1)The expression of PD-L1 in NK/Tcelllymphomatissues(74.3%)andchronicrhinosinusitis with nasal polyp tissues(76.5%)were not statistically significant(P>0.05).In the NKTL tissues,the expression of PD-L1 is related to clinical stage,LDH and Ki-67(P<0.05),but there is no relation with gender,age,clinical symptoms and β2-MG.(2)The levels of OX40L expression in NKTL tissues(37.1%)were sig-nificantly lower than the control group(88.2%);and there is a statistically significant difference between two groups(P<0.05).In the NKTL tissues,the expression of OX40L is related to the clinical stage(P<0.05),but there is no relation with the gender,age,clinical symptoms,β2-MG,LDH and Ki-67.(3)The expression of PD-L1 has negative correlation with OX40L in the NKTL tis-sues(r=-0.630,P<0.05).(4)The expression of PD-L1 has negative correlation with clinical efficacy in the NKTL tissues(r=-0.344,P<0.05),but the expression of OX40L has no correlation with clinical efficacy.Conclusion The high expression of PD-L1 and the low expression of OX40L may be involved in the development of NK/T cell tumors.The correlation between PD-L1 and clinical efficacy further indicates that PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway may be a new target for immunotherapy of NK/T cell lymphoma.
