Objective To explore the method and effect of occlusal adjustment in the treatment of sports food impaction.Meth-ods A total of 124 patients with food impaction who came to Stomatology Hospital Affiliated to Jinzhou Medical University from Sep-tember 2021 to May 2023 with normal adjacency contact relationship were selected as the study objects.Their occlusal relationship was analyzed,the causes of food impaction were diagnosed,and the situation of food impaction was reviewed at 2,4 and 8 weeks after clinical cure after precise adjustment of occlusion treatment.Results 2 weeks after operation,93 cases of food impaction symptoms were cured,15 cases were effective,10 cases were improved,and 6 cases were ineffective.The success rate of the patients who were not completely cured 4 weeks and 8 weeks after surgery was 94.4％,and the comparison of the cure rates among the three groups showed statistical significance(P＜0.05).Conclusion Accurate jaw adjustment can effectively improve the cure rate of food impac-tion in sports,which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
