Analysis on Optimization of Extraction Technology of Suaeda salsa Protein by Response Surface Methodology and Its Antioxidant Activity
Objective To optimize the extraction process of Suaeda salsa protein and study its antioxidant properties,providing a theoretical basis for the development and utilization of Suaeda salsa protein.Methods The alkaline extraction and acid precipitation method was selected to extract protein from Suaeda salsa.The extraction rate of Suaeda salsa protein was used as an indicator to investigate the effects of liquid to material ratio,time,temperature,and pH value on protein extraction rate.The Box-Behnken response surface methodology was used to optimize the protein extraction process of Suaeda salsa.Results The extraction rate of Suaeda salsa protein obtained through response surface methodology was 9.73%.The antioxidant activity experiment showed that Suaeda salsa protein had the highest clearance rates for DPPH radcal(DPPH·)and hydroxyl radcal(·OH),which were 83.20%and 51.30%,respectively.Conclusion The optimized extraction process of Suaeda salsa protein is feasible;the antioxidant activity experiment has proved that Suaeda salsa protein has strong antioxidant properties.
