Isolation and Identification of Enterobacteriaceae Bacteria in Aviation Food Production Environment and Study on Multi Locus Sequence Typing
Objective To isolate and identify Enterobacteriaceae bacteria in the aviation food production environ-ment,and study their multi locus sequence typing,in order to understand the pollution status and sources of Entero-bacteriaceae bacteria. Methods 32 environmental smear samples from the operating platform, trolley, and ground of the aviation food production workshop were collected and Enterobacteriaceae bacteria from these smear samples was isolated.By using biochemical experiments and 16S rDNA sequencing methods, bacterial species were identi-fied and multi site sequence typing was performed. Results Seven strains of Enterobacteriaceae bacteria were iso-lated from 32 environmental smear samples, including 3 strains of Klebsiella oxytoca,2 strains of Klebsiella pneu-moniae,1 strain of Enterobacter cloacae, and 1 strain of Lelliottia amnigena. The multi locus sequence typing of 3 strains of Klebsiella oxytoca are ST126,ST160,and ST277.Conclusion No pathogenic bacteria was isolated from the aviation food production environment in this study, but conditional pathogens such as Klebsiella pneumoniae,Klebsiella oxytoca,Enterobacter cloacae, and Lelliottia amnigena were isolated. The risk of food contamination by these conditional pathogens should also be taken seriously.
