Newly discovered tungsten mineralization in Lianhuashan copper-silver deposit from southern Great Xing'an Range and its significance for prospecting
The Great Xing'an Range area is an important lead-zinc-silver-copper-tin polymetallic metallogenic belt in northern of China. The Lianhuashan copper-silver deposit is a typical hydrothermal vein-type medium copper ore deposit on the eastern slope of this belt.Based on the series of metallogenic studies and analysis of metallogenic regularity the authors adopt the ideas of'geospatial mineralization'and'absence prospecting',and believe that there is a possibility of midium-high temperature tungsten mineralization in this area.Through the implementa-tion of demonstration research work on prospecting and exploration, new scheelite was discovered and the tung-sten ore bodies was confirmed. It not only provides important guidance for a new round of strategic action in the Lianhuashan area, but also has important significance for the study of tungsten deposits and metallogenic regulari-ty on the East slope of the southern Great Xing'an Range.
