Observation on antennal sensillia of Leguminivora glycinivorella with scanning electron microscope
The appearance and distribution of sensilla on the antenna of Leguminivora glycinivorella Matsumura were observed with a scanning electron microscope. The results show that the antenna of L. glycinivorella adults were filiform, and were of seven types; sensilla trichodea, sensilla chaetica, sensilla squamiformia, sensilla styloconica, sensilla coeloconica, sensilla auricillica and Bohm bristles. Though the distribution of sensilla in both genders was the same, the types and numbers of sensilla differed in males and females.
