The Interpretation of "Jia"in Dowry of Miao People from Bajiaoqing Village
Dowry is a common cultural phenomenon in Miao people .Its most fundamental meaning is to support and consolidate "Jia", similar to "Home"in English .Through analyzing the Miao dowryˊs source and delivery in Bajiaoqing village , this article holds on that the dowry is of much significance to "Jia", as well as to a long-term funding and maintenance of the new family of Miao people .
