摘要
《远大前程》主要讲述了匹普追求上等人的生活，但最终期望破灭的故事。小说分为三个阶段，叙述了匹普在不同时期的三个不同的“身体”，通过福柯的规训权力观，可以看到匹普身体的可变性与流动性；同时，在19世纪英国绅士精神泛滥中，作品着重叙述了一个被社会权力所规训的匹普，以及在这种绅士行为规范下匹普身体的变化，促使这一变化的主要是层级监视和规范化裁决两种规训手段。
Abstract
Great Expectations narrates the story of Pip's desire for gentility, but it turns out to be vain e-ventually. The novel describes Pip's three bodies reflected from his three life stages, which illustrates his bodies' changeability and flexibility from Foucault's discipline and punishment. Pip's observance to gentili-ty in 19th Great Britain was vividly depicted in the work. The success of Pip's disciplined body derives from the use of hierarchical observation and normalizing judgment.
