Traditional villages are the precious"gene bank"for inheriting excellent traditional Chinese culture.The overall spatial form and environment of the village should be effectively protected,and the tra-ditional architecture of the village should be comprehensively protected.In terms of the perspective of cul-tural genes,the article will analyze and discuss the morphological characteristics,historical significance,and genetic lineage of traditional villages in Gannan Zang People's Autonomous Prefecture.The culture rooted traditional villages here is agricultural cultural,including the side-culture of architecture,and the mixed folk cultural.It is beneficial to build an integrated inheritance model of"commercial development-facility construction-brand promotion"to integrate the study on cultural gene theory into the construction of traditional villages in Gannan,which cause to delineate cultural functional zones to protect and develop the corridor of cultures,use modern digital technologies to promote the protection and development of tradition-al villages,and strengthen the competence of their members of teams in traditional villages.The analysis of cultural genes and innovative inheritance of traditional village culture are of great significance for cultural inheritance,sustainability of cultural heritage,and preserved place for the spiritual home.
