The unique socioeconomic conditions of ethnic minority areas determine the complexity and arduousness of social governance.Digital governance under the big data strategy provides new ideas and perspectives to improve the level of social governance in ethnic minority areas and solve social governance dilemmas.In the context of clarifying the status of social governance in ethnic minority areas,the article will discuss the significance of digital governance applied to governance subjects and methods in ethnic minority areas.It is a necessity that we analyze the current practical problems in the areas at the ideolog-ical level,public service level,and governance legalization level,including governance subject rights and responsibilities.There are four aspects of governance legislative work:to cultivate digital governance awareness from an ideological perspective,to build a governance platform with hardware facilities,to cre-ate digital governance with multi-subject participation model,and to improve legislation.Ultimately,it serves to build a digital and contemporary innovative governance system for social governance in ethnic minority areas,and promote ethnic work and social governance in ethnic minority areas for a new stage.
