The creation of Chinese painting is a comprehensive and systematic artistic activity,which reflects a painter's all-round interpretation of his cultural literacy,life experiences,professional skills,and artistic concepts.The theme of Chinese painting creations is constantly evolving with the passage of time.The author selects the CNKI database of journal papers in terms of the key word"Chinese painting creation"from 2012 to 2022 as the literature source,and use the CiteSpace visualization software to pro-vide a bibliometric analysis on the target literature with the help of key word co-occurrence,key word highlight,key word time zone map and other methods.The results show that:art colleges and universities are the main force of publications about Chinese painting,and they are closely related to each other;the themes of Chinese painting creations are eclectic and colorful;Chinese painting creations integrate ancient elements with modern ones,which is distinct to be recognized.
