This study examines the trend and development in translation strategy research in China over the past two decades by analyzing core journals on foreign languages.Through literature review,textual analysis,and visualization mapping,it is found that overall translation strategy research in China has been promising,yet there is room for broadening research perspectives;the variety of research types is rich and the attention is rigorous,while deeper issues require further exploration;the definition of transla-tion strategies is diverse,but lacks systematicity.This research status and trend are influenced by both the inheritance of Chinese translation research tradition,text differences and the demand for pragmatic translation,as well as the influence of Western translation theories.Future development trend in domestic translation strategy research includes expanding research fields,strengthening interdisciplinary coopera-tion,promoting the integration of theory and practice,and facilitating international exchanges and cooper-ation.
