A Study on the Spatial Dimension of the New Development Pattern in Ethnic Minority Areas
In a new era of development, the critical task for ethnic minority regions is to embrace and a-lign with the new development paradigm. This paper zeroes in on the spatial aspects of this paradigm within these regions, conducting an in-depth analysis of the construction and implications of the new de-velopment pattern. It scrutinizes the spatial dimensions-encompassing national resource strategies,eco-logical economies, cultural heritage, natural environments, and international relations-to identify the challenges faced by these areas. The study reveals that the key issues stem from limitations in economic growth and ecological conservation,as well as weaknesses in cultural preservation and regional develop-ment frameworks. To address these, the paper proposes an optimization strategy that focuses on five key areas:developing a strategic resource space, expanding the ecological economy, nurturing cultural identi-ty,enhancing the natural environment, and bolstering international cooperation.By integrating these spa-tial dimensions into the new development pattern for ethnic minority regions, this paper charts a course for a more cohesive and sustainable approach to development, one that is in harmony with the overarching goals of national progress.
