Establishing a Strong Currency:Conditions and Measures
Having a strong currency is the primary and key financial element for building a financially strong country.Currently,China's endeavor to establish a strong currency enjoys favorable conditions such as robust economic development,corresponding financial foundations,and the continuous enhancement of its currency status.Nevertheless,we also face numerous challenges,including the unsuitability of reserve currency nations'currency internationalization paths for China,the theoretical paradox of non-reserve currency internationalization in the paper money era,and the lack of unique financial and economic theories to strengthen currencies in the post-industrial era.It is recommended to take measures such as establishing the credit and reputation of the currency,constructing a bilateral and multilateral payment and settlement system,actively promoting and supporting the construction of a multi-currency market-based sovereign currency payment and settlement system,making China an important international investment destination,and vigorously promoting international Renminbi(RMB)debt and credit business,to build a strong currency,thereby better facilitating the construction of a financially strong country.
